Dr. Aaron Savio Lobo

Aaron is a marine conservation practitioner with work experience in South Asia and West Africa. He completed his PhD from the University of Cambridge on the prestigious Gates scholarship. He is also member of the IUCN Sea Snake specialist group and a recipient of the Sanctuary Asia – ABN AMRO Young Naturalist Award.


Dr. Rohan Arthur

Dr. Rohan Arthur is a senior scientist and head of the Oceans and Coasts programme in Nature Conservation Foundation.
He is a recipient of a prestigious PEW fellowship for his work in understanding coral reef ecology in the Lakshadweep archipelago and Andaman islands of India.


Dr. Nandini Velho

Nandini Velho is an Earth Institute Fellow at University of Columbia. She completed her doctoral research at James Cook University in Australia on “Conservation challenges of wet tropical nature reserves in northeast India”. She is currently working on the interface between health and livelihood strategies around protected areas.


Dr. Teresa Alcoverro

Teresa is the head of Marine Ecology Department at the Centre d’Estudis Avançats de Blanes. Her research is centered on the role that biological interactions, both direct and indirect, play in the functioning of benthic marine systems dominated by primary producers (macroalgae, seagrass meadows and coral).
